Socastee High School is a large, three-story public high school with about 1,200 students located in Socastee, South Carolina, USA, in the Myrtle Beach metro area. The school's mascot is the Brave and the school colors are black and gold. The current principal is Dr. Paul Browning.
Socastee High School provides the IB program and several AP courses for advanced students. Socastee offers the IB Diploma Programme, and has been an IB World School since January 1997.[1]
The school is perhaps best known for its sports teams and its involvement in the arts. Current Phoenix Suns assistant coach Dan D'Antoni was the head basketball coach for nearly 30 years. He left the school in 2006 to join his brother, head coach Mike D'Antoni, in Phoenix.

Socastee High School won the 1988 National High School Mock Trial Championship, held in Dallas, Texas.[2]
