Soaring Eagle Casino

The Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort is a casino, hotel and entertainment venue owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, located just outside of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. It is considered to be the largest casino in the Midwest. The geographic coordinates of the main building are .
The casino offers a typical selection of pit and table games such as blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps, 3 Card Poker and Let It Ride with betting limits ranging from $5-$1000. On busy weekends most are $10-$1000, but you can still find some $5 tables. In addition to slot machines in the main casino, there is an additional nearby gaming hall called the "Slot Palace" where Bingo and Keno are offered.
Soaring Eagle also boasts an 18 table poker room, open 24 hours a day, which spreads popular games such as Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, and Omaha Hi-Lo, with limits ranging from $3/$6 to $10/$20 for limit poker and $1/$2 for no limit poker. The poker room also recently introduced a bad beat jackpot, which currently stands at over $40,000. For tournament poker players, Texas Hold 'Em tournaments run every Monday of each week and the last Friday of each month.
The legal age to gamble in the casino is 18 years old. Since it is on an Indian reservation, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe can set the age limit for gambling as they deem appropriate; however, the drinking age is still 21, and "carding" is strictly enforced. The casino, along with other Michigan casinos built on Indian land, is exempt from normal Michigan statute which prohibits the building of casinos. The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe lowered the entry age limit so that younger people could enter and watch the concerts and shows that go on throughout the year, and because of the proximity to college campuses in the area, specifically Central Michigan University. The casino also offers an arcade for children called CyberQuest as well as a daycare center.
