[edit] Annie's spiritual guide

I have not seen this show. What kind of "panther" followed Annie around as her spiritual guide? What did it look like? Was it black, spotted, or neither? Was it animated? I'm asking so that the panther link in the article can link to the appropriate article. - Slow Graffiti 18:14, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

The panther was black, and it kind of glowed a little around the edges. if you can find the right "cheesy radioactive black panther" link for it, all the more power to you. --156.29.73.131 22:50, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why?

The reason Disney Channel has for stopping this series is because it did its 65 episodes. I don't know if anyone noticed, but That's So Raven passed 65 episodes and it's still going. I'm sure if disney brings back old episodes such as So Weird, the Famous Jett Jackson, and more. Disney Channel now only plays comedys which is getting boring to most of us. I'm sure a lot of people would like these old shows back. Disney needs to know that we don't always want to see comedy shows. They need to bring back what made us want to watch Disney! If YOU want to bring back all these disney shows, there's a petition online to do that! Hopefully, Disney will see and consider it.

I moved the above to Talk because it is clearly a POV edit. Karen 19:32, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

The 65 ep rule was still in force more recently than So Weird, observe the popular Lizzie McGuire..--Nelliebellie 06:11, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

I've heard rumors about this 65 episode rule, but cannot find a source. If anyone has a source for this rule, could they please provide.

[edit] Theories

My best friend and I have a lot about the characters' untold backstories, gleaned from the music and such (first and second seasons only, I'm a purist). What are yours? Proof?--Nelliebellie 06:10, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Is there a link to the shows website? Is it still up and running? When was it taken down? I could not gleam this information from the article, and these things are nice to know. Thanks. - Random, annon. person.

There are fan sites, but I'm pretty sure the official Disney one has been gone for at least four or five years, basically since shortly after the show ceased production. Karen | Talk | contribs 07:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge from Music of so weird

Please merge any relevant content from Music of so weird per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Music of so weird. Thanks. Quarl (talk) 2007-02-09 09:19Z

The redirect went through even as I went to do that, but no matter. I've merged in what was there, reformatted, and added many more song listings. Someone needs to do the work of getting full credits for each and correct sorting by season, but I've made a start. Online listings seem to have largely gone away since last I looks this stuff up.
Alternatively, a simple episode guide section could incorporate what songs were in each show. This would better demonstrate the relationship between the song and the storyline. Karen | Talk | contribs 16:08, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

So weirdSo Weird — The lack of capitalization in "So Weird" is a long-standing error, from even before lower-case first letter titling was allowed on Wikipedia, and highly inconsistent at that. The only place, outside of Wikipedia, that the uncapitalized "so weird" title is seen is in the show's logo, where it is merely an artistic choice of font - not the actual proper way of writing it. In all television schedules, magazine articles (example: USA Weekend's profile on Mackenzie Phillips), and references to the book series based on the show, the title is written "So Weird" - with capitalization. To assert that the proper title is "so weird" based solely on the artistic titling in the show's credits is the same as trying to say that "Lost" and "Alias" should be "LOST" and "ALIAS" because their respective title sequences make use of all-caps fonts...despite the fact that in all other references they are written as "Lost" and "Alias". Though normally a minor move, this move was first bungled by my own ignorance of how to properly move an article (I mistakenly moved the article by cut and pasting, and was corrected in my error), and then apparently deemed controversial on top of that. [edit] Survey

Add  # '''Support'''  or  # '''Oppose'''  on a new line in the appropriate section followed by a brief explanation, then sign your opinion using ~~~~. Please remember that this is not a vote; comments must include reasons to carry weight.
  • Support, per WP:MOS-TM, WP:MOS-PN and (according to the nominator) common use. I'd like to add that our guidelines currently do not support all-lowercase renderings of trademarks or for that matter proper names. - Cyrus XIII 00:39, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Support - the lower case rendering is more a logo than an actual preferred spelling, as far as I can tell. Fan sites generally capitalize it the normal way, as do imdb and other tv sites. There seems no reason not to do the page move. -- Karen | Talk | contribs 01:10, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

This article has been renamed from So weird to So Weird as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 07:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Anti-Disney bias

This article seems a little opinionated, like the person who wrote it was very angry at Disney. Maybe tone down the attitude?

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Familyreunion.jpg

Image:Familyreunion.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:57, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

I've added a rationale to the image. -- Karen | Talk | contribs 09:05, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
