[edit] Any Good?

if anyone's there: is this movie any good? i love Alan Rickman, and doubt i can see this movie, but what was your opinion on the movie? it sounds too complicated.. LollyLo 04:48, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Although Wikipedia guidelines encourage the talk page to be about the Wikipedia article itself, perhaps this is the opportunity for you LollyLo or whomever, to research the movie and see if you might like to add referenced information here. If I may jot an opinion never-the-less (so as to encourage your research to improve this article), I would say that the movie is not complicated. This movie seems to be purposely not complicated so as to build on the perspective of the characters in the story. The time-line felt much longer than the time elapsed according to the film, but I figured that to be because of the unique individuals brought together by circumstance. I am no film expert and this is absolutely my opinion after viewing it twice (on cable). If that depiction of autism is valid, then myself as a viewer of the movie, felt drawn into a new understanding of a version of autism. Reading about autism on Wikipedia doesn't capture the way that I found Siguourney Weaver to provide so eloquently. All acting performances were superb and convincing. I was drawn to the topic of autism, therefore my opinion is very much focused on how the film portrayed this. I hope that you will be motivated to do actual research and help contribute to this article. So far, all that I have been able to do is add links to this article. Best wishes!
