Fird Eaglin, Jr. → Snooks Eaglin – according to the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people) the most used name to refer to a person is generally the one that Wikipedia will choose as page name. Since Eaglin's real name (Fird Eaglin) is nowhere to be found (not on album titles, not in concert announcement, reviews, etc.) the page should read 'Snooks Eaglin' (see my Snooks Eaglin discography at http://www.wirz.de/music/eaglin.htm). See other blues artists pages, e.g. Scrapper Blackwell (real name: Francis Blackwell), Furry Lewis (real name: Walter Lewis), Lazy Lester (real name: Lester Johnson), and, and, and ...

seems like I'm the only one interested in this move - but anyhow: As the originator of that request I strongly support that the page should be moved (see my arguments above) StefanWirz 14:05, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
