Snow-supporting structure
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Snow supporting structures are structures for avalanche control. They are subdivided into rigid structures and flexible structures.[1][2]
Rigid structures are snow bridges, and snow racks. Flexible structures are snow nets.
The choice of proper structures depends on the protected objects and the type of the terrain.[2]
