Vehicles line up on the ascent to Snoqualmie Pass in 1946. Photograph by a Seattle Post-Intelligencer photographer, donated to the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle, and provided by the University of Washington Digital Collections.[1] The collections' fair use statement: "The doctrine of fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. Fair use includes comment, criticism, teaching, and private scholarship. The organizations featured on this website welcome fair use of our Web site and its contents." [2]
