Snivelers say certain statements to justify their snivelings:

1. It is not "notable"

They'll delete anything in sight because it is not "notable" (in their opinion).

2. Talk pages are there to "improve the article"

They'll ravage a talk page because they arbitrarily and independently determine that statements on talk pages do not "improve the article." The fact that talk pages are not supposed to be deleted by anyone is not recognized or obeyed by snivelers.
