Snellegem is a town in Jabbeke, a part of Belgium. The famous writer Jacob van Maerlant lived here.

Snellegem is a very small town between Jabekke and Zedelgem. It it about 8km from Brugges and has only 2 resteraunts, a bakery, a butcher shop and a small church.
