'Snegithiye' is a 2000 Tamil-Malayalam Bi-lingual movie starring Jyothika Saravanan, Sharbani Mukherjee, Tabu and Lakshmi with music composed by Vidyasagar. The film is directed by Priyadarshan. This film marked Priyadarshan's 50th directorial venture.This film was a flop in box office.

This film is a remake of Marathi movie 'Bindhaast' produced by Machchindra Chate and directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni. The film deals with two friends,Vasu (Jyothika) and Radhika (Sharbani), who are classmates. Vasu is the boss and she leads a pack of girls. Vasu tries to keep Radhika's guardian at bay by talking about a non-existent boy (Ramesh)in London with whom Radhika(Sharbani) is supposed to be in love. The boy makes a call to Radhika(Sharbani) saying that he is in the city to meet her. Vasu and Radhika ask the mysterious boy (Ramesh) to come to the hostel room where Vasu stays. Here the man is murdered and the girls are taunted by ACP Gayatri(Tabu). The girls are on the run and cops behind them. Towards the end the mystery of the murderer is cleared.

A.R. Rahman was supposed to do the Music for this movie. But since Priyadarshan wanted the Music soon, A.R. Rahman rejected the project, and Vidyasagar scored the Music.
