SNECMA Turbomeca Larzac
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Larzac is a military turbofan manufactured by GRTS, a consortium between the two French SNECMA and Turbomeca.
Its main application was on the Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet, on which 2 versions were used :
- Larzac 04C6 for the French Air Force Alpha Jets.[1]
- Larzac 04C20 for the, among others, Luftwaffe Alpha Jets.
A Indian aircraft under development, the HAL HJT-36, also used these engines for the prototypes.
