SNEB

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The SNEB rocket (French: Societe Nouvelle des Etablissements Edgar Brandt) is an unguided air-to-ground rocket manufactured by the French company TDA Armements. It can be fired from combat aircraft and helicopters, e.g. from the Eurocopter Tiger after the pilot has identified the target in his visor.

The missile is propelled by one rocket engine. There are different versions of the rocket, e.g. a rockets with the internationally usual diameter of 70 mm and the 68 mm, which is preferred by France. They can be used both against armour and soft targets.
