[edit] Entomology?

Does anybody know the entomology of the word "hut"?

[edit] Bad ball play

I added a reference to the official rules regarding what constitutes a legal snap. I left the previous paragraph under that section up, as well as the video link. The original paragraph is incorrect in stating the center is allowed to stand upright and hand the ball to the QB, as is shown in the video. The snap must be a continuous backwards motion. Lifting the ball is strictly prohibited.

  • I reworded the first paragraph of the section, conformed the external link to the Wikipedia format, and eliminated the commentary regarding the play in the video. That last paragraph was POV: you can't definitively tell by the angle of the footage whether the ball was headed backward or not; regardless, the referees considered it legal, so it's inappropriate to flatly state that it's not. --68.155.165.170 01:02, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
