In the Alex Rider Gadgets Guide, a letter from "Smithers" says that in his next mission (Snakehead) Alex should be armed with a Smith and Wesson self loading pistol.--124.182.136.155 06:16, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

he should have been given a gun in the first 6 books.

cool! a 7th book

This is a spy story, any character can very easily be brought back from the dead. <_<

Yssan doesn't actually come back in person, we just find out more about him from Ash.

[edit] Add

The plot summary is like what one finds on the back of a book jacket- this is not appropriate for an encyclopedia. I have not read the book, so I cannot fix it. Beast of traal T C _ 20:52, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Beast of traal

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Snakehead britishcover.png

Image:Snakehead britishcover.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Wolf vs Fox

In the novel, is it Wolf or Fox that Alex meets? The book calls him "Fox", but there have been name errors before, such as referencing a CIA agent as "Tom Turner" in Ark Angel instead of "Glen Carver" which was his name in Skeleton Key. I'm not sure which the correct name, and Wolf seems to be the most prominent character of the group of 4. It's kind of confusing me...--Shroopliss T/C\U 16:30, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

It's Fox. He would have known Wolf the second he spoke.

And where'd you get Glen Carver from? I have the UK edition of Skeleton Key and it certainly says Tom Turner. Was it changed in the US edition of SK, but when printing AA they forgot to change it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.48.236 (talk) 15:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, in the American edition of Skeleton Key, his name is Glen Carver. In Ark Angel, he is referred to as Tom Turner. I wasn't sure if this was the same kind of problem.--Shroopliss T/C\U 21:45, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
It seems simple to me: The US publishers changed his name for Skeleton Key, but forgot to change it for Ark Angel. This isn't like that, since it's Fox in the UK edition.

[edit] Plot summary

The plot summary had kinda taken over the article, so I've replaced it with an adequate but much briefer version from an older revision. [1]. --Tony Sidaway 23:32, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

I've been wondering whether to remove the big spoiler from the last paragraph, replace it with something like: "Alex discovers that the ASIS traitor was also responsible for the death of his parents." Any comments? Robina Fox (talk) 14:51, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Honestly, anyone with common sense would take the 'Plot Summary' section, to be a summary of the plot. There is no reason to leave something out of the plot or put a plot spoiler in the section. ~ Bella Swan 20:23, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
