The Ed Marlo snap change is a very fast color-change card sleight. A card is taken off the top of the deck and the index finger and the middle finger are placed on the corner of the card. with a blow or a snap the card changes from one card to another.
[edit] Method
- The trick is executed using a double lift (in which two cards are surreptitiously taken from the top of the deck instead of one). When the middle finger is snapped back, the front card is removed leaving the other card in front being held by the index and the thumb. The trick must be done carefully with an eye to viewing angle. The other hand may bring the deck up to the snapped card and steal it onto the deck.
