[edit] Plot
The story follows Al Stone and his young ward Nathan in the 1930's prohibition era. The story follows a skewed timeline in which monsters and other strange malignant creatures run rampant which the people call Darklings. Al however is blind to the existence of such beings, as Nathan explains:"What people say and what he hears can be two different things."
