Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 13:58, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Three tight ends
Hello Smokedadro,
"Three tight ends" may be bad geometry, but it is the most-common alignment for offenses in goal-line situations. A tight end is a tight end even if he's not on the end of the line on a given play. The phrase "three tight ends" gets 14,200 Google hits. -- Mwalcoff 02:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] American football
Thank you for your contributions to the American football article. Please see the associated talk page for an important message (at the bottom). -- Mwalcoff 03:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] College football
I've reverted your edits and your reversion of my reversion (ugh) because the terms you are adding are slang. The correct terminology already exists and is more correct. Further, it seems you are adding language more commonly used for Rugby or Australian rules football than the American football. Let's discuss this before we revert anymore though. [edit] American football again
Hi Smokedadro,
I've left you another message on the bottom of the American football talk page. Please make your case for your changes there or try to work out a compromise. It is in keeping with Wikipedia etiquette to try to work out disputes on the talk page rather than engage in "revert wars" on the article page itself. -- Mwalcoff 04:47, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
