Smothered is the last single released by the nu metal band Spineshank. It was only released in the USA in CD format. The video of the song features the band performing in a room while they are filmed by numerous hidden cameras, which they find and destroy. The song was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards of 2004.
