Welcome to wikipedia. sorry that I had to remove your links to a video. The video is not up to wikipedia standards. The professor does not present controversial points of view on the topic (for example there is serious doubt whether the battle of Himera was really a big affair and had anything to do with the Persian invasion). Please convince him to improve the quality of the images and the sound quality. Breaking it up in small specific section for individual battles would also be a good idea. I didn't realize that it's your lecture. Your links could be seen as conflicting wikipedia rules on publishing material. However, I have an idea how to improve your lecture in content and quality within the rules set by wikipedia. We had the idea of creating publication as podcasts or presentations in the Military History Project. My suggestion is the following: you create a script with notes, me and some others do some research on controversial points and additional information and provide you thus with feedback. You try to make a new script with the feedback and send it to us and we work it over again and so forth. If the script is finished you and possibly some friends/students(they can ask questions) make a podcast(sound only). This podcast will be worked over by one of our specialists(no gongs, no other background noises). Afterwards a video can be created with better image quality and updated maps(if I have time to create some). Would that be an acceptable solution?
