[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Portal (video game logo).svg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Portal (video game logo).svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:28, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] EA-Land
You're right. All the sources I've seen have credited the game as EA-Land. I've gone ahead and moved the article. :) Sillygostly (talk) 05:51, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Dark modified Second Life logo.png
An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Dark modified Second Life logo.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. —David Levy 14:09, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Ha'Nephilim
We have a template which can be used to notify people that the page is a WIP translation, I have added it to Ha'Nephilim, as we do not use hatnotes for that. For a complete listing of other tags you might find useful, see WP:TM. Also, I'm going to try and get the page moved back to Ha'Nephilim instead of having a translation in the title because that is not how we handle foreign names on Wikipedia. Other than that, welcome! [edit] Gross overstatment and disservice to SL group NPIRL
Wow, your vote for delete contains such a gross overstatement. It's interesting seeing that you feel it is appropriate as a teen grid user to speak behalf of "almost the entire community of Second Life". Whereas you mention flickr where several hundred Second Life users have contributed images to the NPIRL photo group. In the circles I interact in, in the art community, NPIRL is very well known and accredited. Hundreds of people have already visited this NPIRL project that launched a couple of days ago that is being partnered by Rezzable... oh wait, are you going to say that almost the entire community of Second Life hasn't heard of Rezzable either. Sheesh.BcRIPster (talk) 14:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, i'm deeply sorry. :-( I misjudged the community, and am, again, very sorry. I have changed my vote as well, to Keep instead of Delete. Deeply sorry once more, and hope you can forgive me. :-( -Smiley Barry [USER] [TALK] [SL] 19:09, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
