[edit] First "Heist", now "Smith"
Somehow I don't think the storyline of a crew of criminals that conducts high-tech robberies week to week hunts... At least not on network TV. "Italian Job" knock-offs seem doomed when it comes to ratings...
- This series clearly has more depth than the Italian Job (original), the remake is not even worthy of mention in discussion. Focusing on the duplicitous personal lives of the characters had much potential, but alas the series was not allowed even a moment to breathe and develop. Executives and viewers apparently prefer fast food for the mind programming like American Idol and Survivor. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.242.115.247 (talk) 01:53, 2 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Show has been pulled, but not officially cancelled
Hi, quick work for mentioning "Smith"'s status. Good job. As of October 6, 2006, the show has been pulled off the schedule by CBS and its title is currently not listed on the web under current primetime shows. But, should the Wiki article state that the show is already "cancelled?" Right now, it's on hiatus. CBS hasn't officially said the show is cancelled. I know there's a very good chance that "Smith" is dead (the signs are ALL there). Maybe I'm being a little picky here, but I'm still new. To me, we are assuming the show is cancelled. What do you think? Tvdir 01:31, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image
I haven't been able to find a usable image for this page. CBS clearly doesn't want the image from their official web page to be downloaded. If anybody finds an image that can be used within the constraints of Wikipedia's license rules that please add it. SnappingTurtle 17:13, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know how to add images but there's an image at www.epguides.com. It's not a great one but it should be available—Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.167.230.63 (talk • contribs)

- The one with Bobby leaning against the car? That's the only one I see there and it's a pretty horrible quality. Plus it just shows the one character and nothing that represents the whole show. If I'm missing the correct pic please give us a direct link. Oh, and sign your comments, there's an easy button in the top toolbar thing.--Oldsage36 03:20, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Phone number?
I'm not sure as to the exact page but I don't think wikipedia allows phone numbers (even though I'd love to have the show back too). Can anyone more experienced verify this and remove the phone number?--Oldsage36 23:32, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What?
Maybe I'm stupid but what does it mean when it says they have not "yielded production"? EAi 03:23, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Original run
Even if the show is canceled or just on hiatus, you donot need to note that in the infobox. For programs still on air, they air as (00/00/00 - present). For programs that have finished their run, or are currently on hiatus (with a slim chance of returning) you use (00/00/00-00/00/00). Adding the note of it being canceled/or even on hiatus is not required as it is noted several times in the article. ~HJ [talk]@½-00:19, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ouch...
A shame, the cancellation was... I really enjoyed that show...
[edit] Marley is Tom's brother?
71.242.199.58, do you make this connection because Tom calls him "bro?" That's common slang for "friend," not to be taken literally. --Chancemichaels 17:11, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Chancemichaels
-
- Documentation for the fact that they are not brothers, when Tom recommends that Bobby interview Marley for the job:
-
"I did time with this kid, he seemed pretty solid. I could call around, see if he's out?"
- That's Episode Three, time stamp 18:22, for those who downloaded the program. Marley and Tom are not brothers, I have corrected in the article. --Chancemichaels 18:59, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Chancemichaels
[edit] Article contradicts itself
The lead says eight episodes were made available on CBS Innertube, while the Episode section says only episodes 4 through 7 were... --Fritz S. (Talk) 21:12, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think we've fixed all the references now. For the record
-
-
- There were seven episodes shot.
- Only three were aired, but all seven are now available for download.
- Episodes 8 through 12 were plotted (and reportedly scripted) but were never shot due to the cancellation. [1]

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Smith intro.png
Image:Smith intro.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
