The Smith & Pinching Group Ltd is one of the largest firms of independent financial advisers and commercial and personal insurance brokers in East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
The Company was founded back in 1973 by Barry Pinching and Gerry Smith who came together to build a business to serve the local community. Since the retirement of the founding partners, the company has been headed by Group Chief Executive and Managing Director, David Hughff and Financial Director and Company Secretary, Scott Pinching. Mike Chapman and Robert Kerridge are also Group Board directors.
The address of the head office is 295/297 Aylsham Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR3 2RY. In recent years the Group has opened Halifax (bank) branch agencies in Attleborough, Holt, North Walsham, Bury St Edmunds, Watton and Cromer.

The Group offers various financial planning and insurance services. Smith & Pinching employs around 100 staff most of whom are highly skilled and hold an array of qualifications, including the coveted Investment Management Certificate, Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, Certificate of Insurance Practice and the NEBOSH Health & Safety Diploma. Several of the company's General Insurance staff have qualified to become either an Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Smith & Pinching General Insurance Services Ltd and Smith & Pinching Financial Services Ltd are part of the Smith & Pinching Group. The company also uses various trading names to emphasise the services they provide. Their household buildings and contents insurance department use the name Household Insurance Services, Abel, Barcroft & Co and Landlords-Insurance.com for their services in selling owner occupier household insurance, buy-to-let property landlords insurance and holiday home/second home insurance. The mortgage department use the trading name Mortgages4Me.

The Company's advertisements can regularly be heard on local radio station Radio Broadland. Listeners are used to hearing the Company's catchphrase: Smith & Pinching - the name you can trust.
