SMIL (computer)

SMIL (a Swedish-language acronym of Siffermaskinen i Lund, "The Digit Machine of Lund") was a first-generation computer built at Lund University in Lund, Sweden. SMIL, the second computer in Sweden, was based on BESK which was in turn based on the IAS architecture developed by John von Neumann.
On January 4, 2006, an emulator of SMIL named SMILemu was released.
