Smart Link Communication

Smart Link Communication (SLC) is an Algerian communications company founded in 2001. It made the first commercial deployment of WiMax in the Arab world, in the 3.5 GHz and 5.8 Ghz bands, aiming to establish a wireless broadband network across the country[1]. As of mid-2005, their network covered most of greater Algiers and much of Eastern Algeria. In addition to wireless broadband, they offer network solutions and VoIP. Their main office is in Hydra, Algiers.
SLC's vice president is Lotfi Nezzar, Gen. Khaled Nezzar's son.
SLC has launched a joint venture with the French company Telemedia, under the brand name "Numidia".
