Small gross

Archaically, a small gross or short gross is a quantity equal to ten dozen, i.e. 10 × 12 = 120.
This number is also known as a great hundred (twelve tens; as opposed to the small hundred, i.e. 100 or ten tens) or a duodecimal hundred.
