The Small Heath (Coenonympha pamphilus) is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. It is widespread in Eurasia and northwestern Africa, preferring drier habitats than other Coenonympha. Its caterpillars eat grasses.
It looks like a small Meadow Brown.
