SM City Bicutan is a part of a chain of malls owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, Inc. and it was opened on November 2002. It has a land area of 18,000m2, and a floor area of 112,737m2, and one of the first SM Malls in Parañaque City. It has two buildings.

SM City Bicutan was opened in November 2002 in Brgy. Don Bosco West Bicutan, Paranaque City by SM Supermalls Founder Henry Sy, and the ceremonies held by Former Parañaque City Mayor Joey Marquez, and Former Vice Mayor (now Mayor) Jun Bernabe.

It contains staple SM franchises such as SM Hypermarket, SM Department Store, SM Cinemas, SM Foodcourt, as well as SM junior anchors such as National Bookstore, SM Appliance Center, Ace Hardware, Surplus Shop, Quantum Amusement and Watsons. SM City Bicutan also provides a wide array of restaurant choices that vary from KFC, McDonald's, Tokyo Tokyo, Chowking, Pizza Hut, Greenwich Pizza, and the all-filipino favorite Jollibee that is located at both buildings.
