[edit] Random comments from Interiot
Yarr, you fear the old Grand Am, taken from the parking lot when nobody was looking.
Wow, you have been cranking out the edits lately, good work. For what it's worth, I created the User:Slordak page, since having redlinks in usernames in history/recentchanges is bit of a red flag, which is something that definitely doesn't apply to you. --Interiot 05:36, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, for what it's worth, when you were playing Geometry Wars the other night, the game genre it reminded me of was called "manic shooters". I've never played a game like that, but it seems like something I could OCD over. --Interiot 03:06, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
I was bold and asked the question about auto-capitalization over at the village pump. It's likely someone will have a far more complete answer than mine... --Interiot 20:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hot Import Nights
I don't know if you're wikistalking* me or if we just managed to cross paths, but good work! :) People who can actually write prose are definitely needed here.
* Yes, we do have to prefix everything with wiki- . --Interiot 17:43, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Alas, someone has to write the actual article content while you're busy disambiguating things and arguing about correct wikipolicy. -- Slordak 18:02, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

- Ahh, wikidrama sucks most regulars in sooner or later. And some of the janitorial work I do is useful.
- If I had the ability to write more content, I would. In response to some of the latest excessive drama, some of the regulars have tried to refocus on article content by collaborating on writing polar exploration. I'm envious of how much great writing they've been able to pump out in so little time. --Interiot 18:50, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

- (you're probably just ribbing, but there has been some tension lately between users who generate a lot of content and users who spend more of their time doing janitorial work... partly as a result of the most recent wikidrama) --Interiot 19:08, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Horus Heresy CCG
Nice work on that article! Thanks muchly! -- Saberwyn 23:06, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- My pleasure. And the Dark Millennium article is up now too! --Slordak 18:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Xbox 360 Games
Thank you so much for helping out with that and finishing up putting in the table format. I was the one who did the first few but I got busy after that and never had a chance to finish. So thank you!! Silver Sonic Shadow 01:06, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Whew! You're welcome. It was a lot of work, and that was just the list for one console! There was also some additional work which went into straightening up the List of GameCube games, but it too is thankfully now complete. -- Slordak 21:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Daybreak episodes
The summaries are too long. Episode articles are supposed to be summaries: not a guide to every little thing (which is what they seem like due to the mass amount of text). Daybreak episodes were what, 40 minutes or so? That certainly can be described somehow in less text. I'm not sure how, as I didn't watch the show much (and I'm no expert on writing summaries). RobJ1981 19:52, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- Day Break is a 13-episode show with a very dense plot. The show has lots of twists and turns, and a single missed detail can make the difference between understanding the chain of events and completely failing to do so. I would argue that it's actually impossible to understand the show if the plot summaries are made much less verbose than they currently are. It's possible to trim a sentence here or there (as I've done), but overall, one can't just delete all mention of a 5-minute scene from a summary and expect it to make sense. -- Slordak 20:09, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
-
- I see that someone apparently decided, despite the fact that there was detailed information on each page (which was the original complaint here!), to collapse all the articles and redirect them to the episode list. This list provides more or less no information about the plot, removes the nuance, and eliminates the trivia; oh well. --Slordak 13:28, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Editcountitis
Here's your list of articles created, and mine. Though it's probably not fair to compare them directly because a number of mine are just random janitorial stuff... *shrug* --Interiot 21:56, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Not actually very interesting, since the bulk of my new contents edits are transforming existing barren/stub pages into full-blown articles. Any listing of pages created fails to capture this. Better to have some sort of metric whereby one looks at "pages where one has added at least x bytes of new material". -- Slordak 14:08, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] N3
Thanks for tidying up some of the Ninety Nine Nights article - I never was the best writer or formatter.87.102.74.102 19:28, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- Aye. There was a lot of new content added, so undoubtedly it helps to have someone else go back over it and do some edits here and there. It's still a little messy in places, and it needs some additional sources, but overall, there's definitely a lot more to the article than before. --Slordak 19:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
Thanks for your work on this article. I really appreciate it. I have 10 gazillion edits but I'm not an article creator. :) So I appreciate it when people step in to help. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 15:03, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I decided to take a stab at improving a few of the Food Network articles, since I frequently find myself watching the programming, and the existing information was somewhat sparse. --Slordak 15:33, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please rethink!
I think video game article should contain a fully icon, logo and screenshot. Please think again... Thanks, I will revert pages you done! If you don't want to do that, please send me a message with a truly reasons. -- Hippy Deluxe
- If I'm not mistaken, I believe that previous discussion here has concluded that the "Image" field in the CVG infobox should contain a single image, generally of the box art. In cases where the box art is not available, a screenshot or logo may be substituted. While arguments have waged back and forth whether a screenshot or the box art are "most representative" of the game, I don't believe there has ever been any acceptance for inclusion of additional small icon images as part of this data.

[edit] Wi-Fi info on list of psp games
where did u get the information about the 2 games that u added wi-fi info for? its not on the official playstation site list of psp games, and if it is another site, i would like to use it for other games. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MrKIA11 (talk • contribs) 19:51, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- It came from knowledge gleaned during writing the articles for the two PSP games in question. Thus, specifically from the official websites here and here, as well as from reviews for both of these titles. I didn't pull it from a site that gathers such information, so I'm afraid this won't be of much use to you on a larger scale. --Slordak 20:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
