[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Macx.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Macx.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 12:09, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Trixul
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Trixul, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.trixul.com. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 00:15, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please do not post articles about your own endeavours
Hi, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia written by neutral editors. It is not a place for you to post articles about your own projects and products. There are plenty of other places for you to spread the word about your own endeavours. Please do not do so here. Thank you. -- But|seriously|folks 06:08, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

- Do you really think Einstein would bother with a website like this? Anyway, please review WP:COI, Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and particularly WP:N so you will understand more of what Wikipedia is about. Also, if you continue to recreate the article, you will be blocked as a spammer. Thank you. -- But|seriously|folks 06:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
What Einstein would do is not really relevant, especially since he is dead. :-) Ok, so, I just recreated the page, in my own words, and very minimally, so someone else can fill in the details. I'm not a spammer.
Also, I'll look into more formal ways to resolve this, I am sure there must be some kind of review process. Not looking for a fight or anything.
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 06:34, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] More on Trixul
Did you read Wikipedia:Business' FAQ? You can post a request at WP:AFC, just be sure to disclose your interest in the subject. -- But|seriously|folks 06:35, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- Business, project, non-profit -- the same rules apply. -- But|seriously|folks 07:00, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- I wish you would read that Business' FAQ, it answers a lot of the questions you're asking. For example: "Many people see that a competitor (or at least, another company that sells a similar product or service) has an article. And naturally, they assume their company is due an article as well. The first thing to understand is that Wikipedia editors are unpaid volunteers; there simply is no one who can direct that an article be written, so demanding that an article be written is not going to be helpful. The second thing to understand is that new articles are created when members of the community are interested enough in a topic to write them." And if you doubt Wikipedia's value, why are you so driven to post an article about your project here? -- But|seriously|folks 08:24, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
