Slovenia national ice hockey team

The Slovenian national men's ice hockey team, also known as the Lynx (Slovene: Risi), is currently ranked 18th in the world by IIHF as of 2007. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia. Slovenia has only 980 players (0.05% of its population) but has managed to join group A and play among the 16 best teams in the world. Their best ever record is 13th place. Their current coach is Mats Waltin
