Slobovia

Slobovia (sometimes called Outer, Inner, Central, Fringe and so on Slobivia) is an imaginary country used in conversation to denote a non-specific faraway country. It also generally connotes a place which is underdeveloped and socially backwards. It has been used frequently to refer in an informal way to any country of no particular distinction. Examples follow:
