Sloane (film)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sloane (1984) is an action movie starring Robert Resnik as "Philip Sloane," a martial arts instructor who fights kidnappers and cannibal pygmies in the Philippines.

[edit] The two cars

The producers of the film were obviously only able to afford two cars, which keep passing each other for the entire film. This is particularly noticeable because Sloane trades in Car #1 for Car #2 partway through the movie.

[edit] Filming

Filming of the movie in the Philippines was eventful. The filmmakers crossed paths with a Guerrilla army and were shot at. According to rumors, an actress attempted to leave the country with a screenwriter in a tryst during last week of the shoot and had her passport revoked by the Americans, who kidnapped her at the airport and forced her back to the set.
