[edit] Allie Jablon
A tag has been placed on Allie Jablon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 02:14, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question about your edit to Danny Kass
Hey there,
I was just wondering if you could cite a source for Danny Kass' hometown. I've been getting some conflicting information, and I thought since you just edited it that you might know. Thanks!

[edit] Grey's Anatomy
May I ask why did you revert my changes? The ABC logo is completely redundant and just takes up infobox space, so does the USA flag.. Illyria05 (Talk • Contributions) 00:37, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flags
Hi, I noticed that you added the flag here.. May I ask why? You did not provide an edit summary.. Also, flags do take up space usually, and are redundant, at least in my opinion.. Can we sort this out somehow? Illyria05 (Talk • Contributions) 03:29, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- The flags don't take much space, compared to the information in the infobox. Again, I think they might look nice to put it there. Also, most infoboxes contain flag icons. By the way, sorry, I have a habit of not putting in an edit summary unless there's a major change in the article --Sli723 03:37, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Frankly, you said 'much space', infobox space is in many cases precious.. Please see WP:FLAGCRUFT.Illyria05 (Talk • Contributions) 04:45, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flags in Actor Infoboxes
Hello, I've noticed that you've went on a spree in adding flags to actor infoboxes lately, such as in the case of Adrian Brody. I've removed the flag on said article, mainly because of the guidelines put down in WP:FLAGS as well as this recent discussion in which several users voiced their dislike of the flags in biographical infoboxes. I know there is a necessity for flags when using film infoboxes, or infoboxes in which numerous links to different countries tend to blend together and there is a need to differentiate. In the case of biographical infoboxes, however, there is only ever one or two countries listed, and they are clearly marked as birthplace and place of death. This information is usually already formatted as city/state/country. Therefore, I would greatly encourage you to reconsider adding these flags to bio infoboxes; it may be pleasing to the eyes, but there is no exact need for it. It's not really a big deal, either, since it doesn't take up too much room; many editors, however, feel it's redundant. Just thought you should know. :) María: (habla conmigo) 01:43, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks! I'll take note to that.--Sli723 01:45, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Glenn Clark
You added a whole bunch of stuff to the Glenn Clark page, all of which is unreferenced. Stuff that you add must be verifiable, i.e. published elsewhere on the web, in a book, in an interview, etc., and stuff like his kids' birthdays, where his wife is going to school, his golf handicap, etc. has nothing to do with why he is in Wikipedia, which is his career as a lacrosse player and coach. Also, the bit about leading the Rock "to the NLL Championship yet again this year" reads like it was taken directly from another web page (not to mention being at least a couple of years out of date), which is a serious Wikipedia no-no. Please add your references, and rewrite any text that is copied from another web site. If no references are added, I'll have to remove all of the unsourced stuff. Thanks --MrBoo (talk, contribs) 22:43, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heidi Androl
A tag has been placed on Heidi Androl, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Luke! 05:31, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox
Hello. I notice that you put the infox box on the Red Lake High School massacre article. I'm writing you because I'd like to know if it's possible to edit these boxes. I'm wondering if it's possible to include the make and model of the gun used in these shootings in the info box. Do you know how to do this, or can you perhaps direct me to someone who knows about infoboxes, specifically the ones that have to do with mass shootings? Thanks in advance... Griot 15:56, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- No problem! Wikipedia members are allowed to edit infoboxes. Well, the make and model of the gun used in the shootings should not be included in the infobox; they are to be included within the article. For more information about infoboxes, click on Wikipedia:WikiProject Infoboxes. Or, you can take a look at various articles as to how to create/edit an infobox. --Sli723 20:23, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References beside supercouples on supercouple lists of the Supercouple article
- We probably should format all of those external links beside the supercouples on every supercouple list in the Supercouple article to be in reference format instead.
Why did you revert your edits, is it because the Internet and media trends section got messed up along the way in one of your edits? I was a little perplexed to see that you left Guy Ritchie and Madonna as a couple in reference format on the Celebrity supercouple list, but left the others on that list in external links format. Either way, I feel that you may have a point about using reference format for the supercouples on the supercouple lists in the Supercouple article. It's just that I'm a bit undecided at this moment on which format that I feel is best for the article. Flyer22 02:57, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, the Internet and media trends section got messed up, I thought it was because of the way of how I formatted the references. Anyways, I reverted my edits so the sections wouldn't be omitted.--Sli723 03:33, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- I see. Well, of course, that article still needs to be improved and will be improved further either way, as is the case for plenty of articles on Wikipedia, and even featured articles that definitely aren't badly in need of improvement, but can be improved further as well, of course. [edit] copyright activists category
Hi Sli723 -- You added the Category:Copyright activists to Jackie Chan. Please look through the Category:Activists, and also at categorization -- categories should be added onto articles only where they are defining attributes of the subject of that article. For example, when you think "copyright activists" you might think "Jackie Chan", or when you think "Jackie Chan" you think "copyright activists". Usually a minor engagement with an issue or support for an issue does not make one an "activist"; activism is usually characterized by full-time or significant work in advocacy or organizing social protest, for example. A PSA appearance does not even always indicate support for the issue, so by itself it's not helpful; if there's a lot of other activism that indicates support for the issue then it could count, but by itself it really can't. I've taken the category off that article, and if you've added it to other articles with similar criteria, would you mind taking another look to see if it's appropriate? Thanks, Lquilter (talk) 23:05, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Category American Congregationalists
Hi, I noticed that you added Michelle Obama to the category American Congregationalists. I see others already there like Barack and Howard Dean. All three of them belong to the United Church of Christ. The UCC came about from the merger of the Evangelical Reformed denomination and the Congregational Christian Church. You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Robert Sargent Shriver III to a different title - however your request is incomplete and has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

- Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
- Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
- Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

[edit] Paris Hilton
Hello Sli723:
I see I'm here on much the same issue as the previous item. I see you have added two categories to this article on Paris Hilton. The problem is there is nothing in the article to support either of these categories.
The policy WP:Categories says (among other things) "An article should normally possess all the referenced information necessary to demonstrate that it belongs in each of its categories. Avoid including categories in an article if the article itself doesn't adequately show it belongs there."
There has been a problem with people adding ancestry categories to this article without supporting information. At one point it said she was Italian, Irish, Swiss, and German, as well as American!
This is discussed at various places in the talk page. Please will you take a look at this.

[edit] Request to move article Robert Sargent Shriver III incomplete
You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Robert Sargent Shriver III to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.
Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:
- Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
- Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
- Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.
If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 08:36, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
