I believe this should be a disambiguation to differentiate between the military unit and the comic book.

[edit] Editorializing?

I'm not a big fan of fans putting their opinions in character bios, but that seems to be the case here:

"After the group dissolved, someone wearing his armor was killed battling the brainwashed Wolverine but it is highly unlikely that it was Eddie since he gave up his own armor at the end of the Slingers series and lacks the means to make another."

Now, despite the fact that it is true that Eddie gave up his armor, there is no indication that the hero killed by Wolverine was anyone other than Eddie/Hornet. As far as Marvel continuity is conserned, he's dead (unless and until some retcons that again later).

Within the tenth Issue of the ALL-NEW HEOHOTMU; the Slingers Entry has included the facts regarding ALL of the former Slingers and {unfortunately} confirmed about Eddie being Hornet for the final time within WOLVERINE #23.PaxHouse 00:18, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Just to let those know.....LONERS #2 has finally revealed the truth about the Death of the Slingers' Hornet from WOLVERINE #23; meaning the debate about whether or not that's the real Eddie is over and the info should be adjusted accordingly.PaxHouse 16:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
