Slim O'Mahoney

Slim O'Mahoney is a character in Irish soap "Fair City". Also known as Sleazy Slim. Slim was introduced to the shoew as womanising factory worker. The character caused a furore in Ireland when he embraced naturism. Actor Keith Ward is said to have drawn from personal experience during this period. National broadcaster RTÉ received a record number of complaints when "Fair City" accidentally screened a scene in which Ward's penis could be clearly seen. RTÉ appoligized perfusely for the incident and "Fair City"'s writers have been forced to clean up Slim's act. Slim now runs a bakery and is engaged to dowdy seemstress Buffy O'Regan. In real life Keith Ward is dating Dublin Wino Claire Connolly.
