Care Bears

Go ahead and add any more information on Care Bears to the site that you would like to. However, please don't create individual pages for each bear or every minute detail in the show. This is against the rules of the wikipedia. Please see What Wikipedia Is Not. This kind of material (and I do not mean offense by it) is often referred to as fancruft. We appreciate your contributions, but please make them meaningful. Think about whether people in Banda Aceh would need a WHOLE PAGE for tenderheart lion. Toodles, Avriette 00:39, 2 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Kaena Point

If you'd like to create a page on the Kaena movie you mention, please do so, and feel free to add a disambiguation tag to Kaena. However, don't include that data on the geographical location. It doesn't belong there. Avriette 10:24, May 6, 2005 (UTC)

Image:Care bears 1988 title card.JPG

You wrote that anybody can use this image with proper credit to the copyright holder? But who is the copyright holder? And what is your source for the generous use of the image? All images on WikiCommons need to have a source. Regards, Thuresson 05:05, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Snow Dogs

Whew! Thanks for the quick save! I thought that the B-Movie Bandit had returned. That was by far the worst experience I've ever had since editing here. - Lucky 6.9 18:08, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Caribbean Wikipedians

I am trying to set up a Caribbean Wikipedians' notice board as a place to build community and try to bring an overall focus to Caribbean topics. It you're interested I'd love to have your input on how to develop the project. The page has links to the other national/regional noticeboards, so you can have at what others do. User Categorisation

You were listed on the Wikipedia:List of Caribbean Wikipedians page as living in or being associated with List of Caribbean Wikipedians. As part of the Wikipedia:User categorisation project, these lists are being replaced with user categories. If you would like to add yourself to the category that is replacing the page, please visit Category:Caribbean Wikipedians for instructions.--Rmky87 03:18, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

Care Bears II: Electric Boogaloo

Hey there. I got your message, and looked at the Care Bears II article (mostly skimming, as my interest in Care Bears is pretty low -- sorry). The article currently looks pretty good, probably better than the movie deserves. :) Nice job.

I can't say whether it will meet featured article status, because I'm not familiar with the procedures for it, but I wish you luck. tregoweth 02:29, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

Jesus

Check out the Jesus article and edit it to keep it focused on Jesus and a biographical account of Him. Watch the Jesus page to keep it focused on Him. Thank you. Scifiintel 22:27, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

Elizabeth Ricker

I removed your speedy deletion tag from this article. Being an actress in a number of movies is a claim to notability. Please feel free, however, to nominate it for deletion. howcheng {chat} 22:18, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Journey to Joke-a-Lot

Nice work on the updates for Journey to Joke-a-Lot. I'll be adding more soon, myself, but you added some great info. I think we're almost at the point where the stub tags can be removed. Agent0042 00:15, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

1m Article

There was a rush; I add station stubs a lot, this just happened to be the right one at the right time. There are articles of mine that I'd much rather have seen make it in as well ;) Good luck with your Wikipedia efforts, from freezing Scotland to Dominica! Nach0king 00:45, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale

I noticed you added fair use rationale to images used in Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation to address my FAC comments, thanks! Just one minor little change: fair use doesn't cover an image, but the particular use of an image. That is, a certain image might be covered by fair use in one article but not in another. Thus, instead of saying "This is deemed fair use on Wikipedia", one must say "This is deemed fair use in the article Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation", or something to that effect. I hope I explained this well enough, it's a tricky distinction that I was not aware of for a long time.

Since I'm here, regarding this comment from the FAC: Our comments should stay on the FAC page a little longer...if only I can do something fast about it. Raul654, the Featured Article guru, will typically not close FAC nominations if there is an active attempt underway to address objection comments. Pagrashtak 13:32, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Care Bears Movie II

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for your dedication to the Care Bears article. I hope you don't mind that I edited some stuff. You put in a lot of hard work and I love articles that remind me of things in my childhood. I was delighted to see someone had actually taken the time to really work on it. Best of luck with all your wikipedia efforts!! Wanda5088 03:24, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Trip

Have a safe trip, and good luck with the application. I wish you all the best. Guettarda 17:24, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Hey, safe trip down. You should be back on the net in nooo time =) There's a small cache of ISP's to select from. Sunbeach, Cable and Wireless, CariAccess.com, etc. But I wish you all the best on your stay, do you know which parish you're staying in? CaribDigita 17:44, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

I've returned to Dominica some 12 hours past! BTW, I stayed at Kingsland Palace in Christ Church. You can read more about my vacation here. --Slgrandson 05:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar!

Much appreciated. And I never knew so much about Care Bears before yesterday. :) —Serein 18:30, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Tiny Pop

The channel is free and on Eurobird 1 superbeam - this has been picked up in your part of the world on about an, oh, 14 metre satellite dish. Got a very very very very big garden? :p --Kiand 13:53, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Gator1

Actually he quit the project after someone sent harrassing mail to his employer. :( Guettarda 01:58, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Dominica

In line with a regional breakdown of the requested photographs category, there is now a Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Dominica which might be useful for you. Would you be interested in turning your parishes "WikiProject" into an official project covering Dominica in general? Dominica seems to be an underreprented topic on Wikipedia, anything that helps counter that would probably be a good idea! TheGrappler 22:49, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you so much for the welcome

Shira Manor

As the discussion is evolving, I would appreciate if you can take another look at your vote. There are no 15.000 articles on Shira Manor, I counted only 3. gidonb 20:41, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Music

Hey, I just noticed you're from Dominica. I've just spent some time on music of Dominica and would appreciate any feedback you might have. Also, that article is in desperate need of pictures and/or sound samples, of which I have none, so if you can help out there, it would be most appreciated. Tuf-Kat 02:51, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

RfA Thank You!

Thanks SIgrandson,

I am honored by your support in my recent successful request for adminship. As an administrator, I am your servant, ready to help however I can. My talk page is always open; should you need anything, or should you see me making a mistake -- probably a common occurrence -- please do let me know. I will depend on the good sense of the community to keep me from making a complete fool of myself! :) In gratitude, Xoloz 16:55, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome

Hello Slgrandson,

Thank you for the welcome and thanks for the newcomer links. I've actually been reading them for the last few weeks. There is alot to learn. Do you have any suggestions for inline citations? Some articles I see alot of inline citation, making it somewhat difficult to read, whereas other articles don't have much if any at all. Regarding the SUMMUM article, it can probably use some inline citation, but how do you balance it between too much citation and not enough? Can you give a suggestion or two on where in the SUMMUM article you would provide an inline citation? Any tips you have will be greatly appreciated
