[edit] Mariavite Church
Sure, I'll have a look later today or maybe tomorrow. Happy new year. Angela. 14:15, 31 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Wow, you've certainly put a lot of work into the Mariavite Church article. I've made a few small changes, but there were some things where I wasn't sure what you meant:
- You wrote "the turn of the 19th and 20th century". How can it be at the turn of both? The turn of the 20th century would refer to the period around the year 2000. Is this what you meant?
- Was Capucin monch meant to be Capuchin monk?
- What do you mean by cult when you say "spread the cult of God in Eucharist"?
- "First of the Mariavite Skolimowski" - what is Skolimowski?
- What does the word pyszny mean? You wrote "that was trying to do something on its own was perceived to be pyszny"

[edit] WikiProject Geography of Poland
- I started Wikipedia:WikiProject Geography of Poland some time ago to settle the naming conventions for Polish Voivodships, powiats/counties and gmina/communes, as well as to create a set of infoboxes for use on these pages. Please participate. Halibutt 12:46, Oct 5, 2004 (UTC)

- Hmmm, on the second thought... Jest jedna rzecz którą można by usprawnić.

-
Halibutt 16:13, Nov 12, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Sociology
I just started this and am looking to get some people involved. I noticed you've done some work on the subject, and your involvement would certainly be appreciated. Thanks! Sarge Baldy 06:15, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Proposal: WikiProject Winter Sports
Hello and thanks for your contribution to the biathlon article! I hope to be able to recruit Wikipedians interested in winter sports such as biathlon and cross-country skiing to a joint effort in inputting the results of races in the current sports events -- for the time being, I am the only one doing this, and I would like to spread the work among more persons. :-) I also regularly update the World Cup top ten lists in biathlon and XC skiing for the current season.
Would you be interested in taking part in such a project? Know of any others? The writing as such should be no problem, one only needs to make varying modifications of my initial results lists. --Wernher 18:38, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
(please answer this comment right here, keeping the conversation in one place; I will check the page regularly)

[edit] Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
[edit] Ashgabat???
Hi. I don't know how often you visit the List of European cities with alternative names these days, but there has been a controversy on its talk page for the past ten days or so, and I was wondering if you would care to review it and possibly intervene. Thank you. Pasquale 18:14, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Alagaësia (pl)
I'm not too familiar with the Wiki projects and I was wondering if you could explain something to me. You added "pl:Alagaësia" to the article Alagaësia and I was just curious as to what it does. Thanks for the clarification. Aznph8playa 20:19, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
Ah that makes sense. Thanks! Aznph8playa 21:46, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Cubist house in Prague
Do you know who designed this house? If it was Josef Chochol, could you add this picture into this article as well? Thanks. Pavel Vozenilek 20:31, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] List of country names in various languages under attack !!!
Dear Jarek,
The List of country names in various languages, List of European regions with alternative names, List of European cities with alternative names, List of European rivers with alternative names, and others, have come under attack by a certain Mikka, who, having just stumbled into all these lists, having found them of little use to himself, and having repeatedly ridiculed them and their users, has then promptly filed a petition to delete the lists in question.
Please cast your vote to keep these valuable, informative, and indeed fascinating lists at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of country names in various languages.
Thanks! Pasquale 16:17, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

Amicalement.
