[edit] China

Please explain your changes to China and People's Republic of China categories. I previously asked for a discussion on those talk pages and was ignored by you and everyone else. Hmains (talk) 05:31, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

  • no problem, I just wanted to understand your plan to see where I might help. Hmains (talk) 02:44, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
The first pass would be to consolidate all "X of PRC" categories into "X of China". "X of PRC" categories probably should not go in Category:China, although stuff like putting Category:History of the People's Republic of China under both Category:History of China and Category:People's Republic of China makes sense. After I get a sense of what's out there I can either move articles to Category:People's Republic of China or "X of PRC" (again, which would likely go under "X of China") or merge (candidates include Geography of China/Geography of the People's Republic of China) as appropriate.
I intend to make these edits as Chinasort (talk · contribs). Please direct future discussion of this topic there.
This is an ambitious project. We'll see how far I get. --Chinasort (talk) 06:01, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] mandopop dance music

Elva Hsiao's most recent album, 1087, contains a few dance songs such as "Biao Bai", "L.O.V.E" and "Dai Yan Ren". Landy Wen's "Hot Wave" (from the album of the same name) is another dance one. Pandacomics (talk) 17:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] China talk archives

Just to let you know, I've moved all the archives as you requested. Everything should be ok, but if not, let me know and I'll take care of it. Regards, Parsecboy (talk) 13:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. --slashem (talk) 13:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Assessment

Hi, I see you've recently assessed 2008 Sichuan earthquake. Could you please leave a comment explaining why you've assessed it a B rating and what needs to be improved on the talk page? This is usually a courtesy to help editors improve the article. Thanks! --haha169 (talk) 23:22, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
