Talk:Slawter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I tagged this as a hoax becuase there is no mention of the film being anywhere on Google, nor IMDB: [1] KILO-LIMA 19:13, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, but it's... It's not a movie. It's a book. And it has an Amazon page here directly confirming most of the details on the page.
- Granted, it's a poorly-written article that should really be heavily edited to make clear that it's part of Darren Shan's Demonata series. But it's not a hoax, or a movie, it's a book.

[edit] Removal of amazon quote
I took off the text copied from amazon as I don't think it's allowed. As I already said after removing things from the Bec article, feel free to correct this as long as you can back it up, but generally copying things from other places is not allowed.Tartan 16:13, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spiderman Quote
Why did the writer of the plot quote a line from Spiderman at the end of the summary? Someone should re-write it so that it's a tad more original, I'd do it myself but don't know how to phrase it so.
And I've read the book, there's not even a reference to Spiderman or Marvel or Comics for that matter! --Jeff 21:16, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] bad article
This is a pretty crummy article. Someone should fix it up, add an infobox, etc. Andy mci 19:47, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Slawtercoveruk.jpg
Image:Slawtercoveruk.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:50, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
