Someone please help this article. (I.e. wrighting more summaries for it.)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheTroupe667 (talk) 22:07, 8 January 2006 (UTC).

The Night of the Living Dummy II section needs some cleanup. Specifically this part: "Slappy, in a fit of rage, knocks out both girls and proceeds to fondle their supple breasts. He takes out his wood and slaps Amy with it until she is reduced to a bloody pulp. He takes his bloody wood and impregnates Sara with his dummy spawn. Nine months later, at the conclusion of the novel, Slappy's child explodes forth from Sara's abdomen and feasts on her head"—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 208.71.184.41 (talk) 20:40, 17 May 2007 (UTC).

I added back to the Night of the Living Dummy III entry that was deleted a while back (it wasn't displaying right & instead of fixing it, someone just removed it). I also added all the currently existing categories this article used to be in (they were lost when people vandalised the page because they were deleted along with the vandalised text instead of the vandalism being reverted). Since Stine clearly stole the idea for slappy from the evil doll "Chuckie" of the Childsplay series, this surely deserves a mention.--86.148.190.222 18:42, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

No, it doesn't, because Stine didn't steal the idea. Tell me the similarities. Was Chuckie carved from a coffin? Can he spew green slime from his mouth? Was he created by Jared Julian? If you read the card in his pocket that says 'Karru Marri Odanna Loma Molonu Karrano,' will he come to life? Is he a ventriloquist's dummy? Mack-the-random 23:37, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

I don't believe there is a seperate article for Night of the Living Dummy 2 and 3. Should there? The first one has its own page. I have both books, and could provide information on the books (ISBN, release date, etc.). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.11.58.206 (talk) 22:22, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:NightLivingDummy.gif

Image:NightLivingDummy.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
