Slaven Jelenović

Slaven Jelenović was born on April 26, 1969, in Zagreb, Croatia. He is a writer[1], blogger, journalist, columnist[2], poet[3], translator[4] and an amateur editor, illustrator and photographer. His writing debut was in the late 90's in university newspaper Studentski List and literary magazine Plima. Shortly after he was nominated for best Croatian science fiction short story. In 1999 he received an literary award from cultural weekly Vijenac Matice Hrvatske [5]. His short stories[6] have been published in a variety of fanzines[7], short story collections[8] and newspapers[9]. He has written also a few pulp fiction novels. Currently he is working on a science fiction novel, new poetry collection and an RTS game-based story. He has written under many diffferent names[10], depending on genre and his personal choice. He lives with his wife Sophia and three cats.
