Slate Range

The Slate Range is a mountain range of the Canadian Rockies, located in Banff National Park, Canada. The range is named after slate, the primary composition of the mountains in the area.

The Lake Louise Mountain Resort is developed on the southern slopes of this range.

NOTE: There is also a Slate Range in California located just west of Death Valley National Park. It lies between Panamint Valley and Searles Valley. The highest point in this Slate Range is just over 5000'.
