Slash story
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A slash story is a fan fiction story where two of the lead male characters have an explicit, homosexual, relationship. Slash stories form part of the genre of slash literature, which comprises stories, poetry, and artwork.[1]
The name "slash" is derived from how such stories are designated. Stories are designated by the initials of the two protagonists, separated by a slash character. For examples:[1]
- "K/S" denotes a story about Captain Kirk and Mister Spock of Star Trek
- "S/H" denotes a story about Starsky and Hutch
- "H/Mc" denotes a story about Hardcastle and McCormick
- "S/S" denotes a story about Simon and Simon
