[edit] Fair use rationale for God Hates Us All

This image, Slayer-GodHatesUsAll-WhiteSleeve.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I LuciferMorgan 11:18, 3 May 2007 (UTC) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  • it is a low resolution copy of a CD's alternative album cover;
  • it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the CD album in any way;
  • scanned copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another CD;
  • it is the censored artwork of a famous band, Slayer. The censored cover is used to illustrate the controversy concerning the album's artwork, which is critically discussed in the article.
