User talk:Skysmith/Missing topics about Pharmacy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I added redirects from misspellings and a few brand and alternate names (left them on the list in case anyone wants to check, but I only did the ones I was sure of). These I wasn't completely sure about:

  • Somnifacient -- never heard this but presumably should redirect to hypnotic?
  • Anabolic drug -- same as Anabolic steroid?
  • Colchicines -- it looks like this might refer to drugs related to colchicine as well as colchicine itself; should it redir to colchicine?
  • Germicide germinate -- ?
  • Ocular lubricant -- just redir to eye drop?
  • Salicylate drugs -- redir to salicylic acid?
  • Sedative-hypnotic drug -- we have sedative and hypnotic--actually sedative-hypnotic redirects to sedative--aren't they different names for the same class and shouldn't have separate articles?
  • Cherafol, cough medicine -- should be Cheracol but I don't know if it merits its own page
  • Chlrosthalidone, an antihistamine -- chlorthalidone? but it's not an antihistamine
  • Zylcaine -- Xylocaine? it probably is but the second Google result is confusing me

There are definitely a lot of important topics (mostly general pharmacy stuff and not specific drugs) that don't have articles. I'll probably add to this list. Where did it come from, by the way? --Galaxiaad (talk) 17:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
