Skyline classes began in 1970, with the present (Forney Road) campus opening in 1971. The first commencement exercises were held for the Class of 1972.--Emoll 13:59, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

The paragraph regarding the naming of the school by Mr. Stamps and Mr. Davenport was clearly copied from the DISD webpage without attribution. I have added the attribution and reverted to the original wording in the two instances where it had been changed. (I deleted "to the West" and changed "DISD's" to "the nation's.")--Emoll 20:35, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

I have created a new section, "History," and added several paragraphs. The information is based on my personal knowledge.--Emoll 21:28, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

69.15.27.90, you added JJ Henry to the alumni names. I'll try to overlook the fact that your talk page is a long series of vandalism warnings and give you the benefit of the doubt as far as good intentions. Are you referring to the professional golfer JJ Henry? He attended Fairfield Warde High School in Connecticut, and I see no evidence that he might also have attended Skyline (his name is not listed in the Skyline Alumni Directory among any of the early-1990s graduating classes). I have removed his name from the article, but if you can find and cite a source that says Henry did attend Skyline, feel free to restore his name. Emoll 20:41, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
