Talk:Sky Tate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Does anyone else think it's odd that all of the pictures on this page apart from one feature Sky as a Red Ranger and not as a Blue Ranger, even though he was a Blue Ranger for the vast majority of the series? -- Supermorff 19:00, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Amendment: Now *both* pictures on this page depict Sky in Red Ranger uniform. Someone really has to provide a picture of Sky either as the Blue Ranger, or wearing his usual blue uniform. -- Supermorff 15:47, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Fixed. >_> --Thrashmeister 15:23, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Okay, someone changed my edit. :/
Really, we need one picture of him as Blue Ranger. --Thrashmeister 03:30, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
someone changed it again. STOP CHANGING THE PICTURE. WE NEED A PICTURE OF HIM as the blue ranger.
Uh, I don't know if you guys have noticed, but recently, someone has changed the infobox image from Blue to Red. Leader Vladimir where is green ranger
How could Sky be the son of Alex (1st Time Force redranger)? Wasn't Alex from the 30th century? That could create one hell of a paradox, including Alex being his own grandfather.X_X
- He's not. They just reused Time Force suits for Sky's dad. Sincerely, Thrashmeister {U|T|C} 00:58, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:SPDBlueRanger2.jpg
Image:SPDBlueRanger2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:46, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shadow Ranger?
Why has someone added a link box saying Sky is the Shadow Ranger? That contradicts the Article itself, which says that it is unknown if he is or not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.110.254.233 (talk) 15:18, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Theory for Sky's Dad's Powers
There are lots of ideas for how Sky's dad may be related to Wes somehow, but I submit another possibility. Wes' dad's company (Biolab) was at one time trying to analyze the Quantum Ranger's powers to reproduce them for the other Silver Guardians. The Quantum Morpher wasn't keyed to a genetic sequence; it was voice controlled, and as demonstrated in PRTF's final episode, could be used by anyone if the voice lock sequence was deactivated, so they didn't need Wes' genetic code to use it.
It's possible that Biolab eventually succeeded in replicating the Quantum Ranger technology and simply used the Red Time Force Ranger's suit style as one of their designs (especially since, at the time, they could only reliably replicate the designs/styles of two suits; perhaps something in the physical designs themselves made morphing or the like possible?). Later, they could have eventually upgraded the technology to SPD standards if/when the Silver Guardians eventually became SPD, incorporating the Time Force Badge technology that Jen left for Wes into SPD's morphers as SPD's Containment Mode.
