[edit] Color Designation in the Channel Guide Section
May I suggest some things in the Channel Guide section?
- Change color designaions by using pastel colors. The current color designation is an eyesore since it contrasts with the default grey background of channels with no color designation.
- Correct some errors in the color designations.
The Sky Cable-exclusive channels to date, if we ignore availability in satellite providers like DREAM SATELLITE TV, are the CPI Power Bundle, STAR Channels, the Knowledge Channel, Solar Sports, and ANIMAX. Other than these, they're available on other CATV providers.
The Sky Cable Gold only channels to date are channels from 36 to 40 only. There are there other channels with gold designations like Animax and some STAR and CPI channels in the Channel Guide Table. What's the deal with this? Are these channels converting to Gold soon? Let me (and other Wikipedians) know about this 'news' by putting it in the article.
Please correct them soon. Sorry, the code for the table looked too technical so I can't edit it myself. This is the least I can do.
'Nother thing. Do you all mind if I correct the classification of the Cable Digest section? It has Tagalog words on it that some may not understand angd the classification is a bit messy. I hope all of you don't mind.
That is all. Headin' out!

[edit] RAI International
I want to add RAI International, an Italian channel in Gold and Platinum packages on channel 79 effective July 1st. I am so happy to see RAI. I saw RAI sometimes during vacations and outings with my parents. The head of the company can read and accept its offer from my e-mail. - ApprenticeFan - 06:46 am June 14, 2006 (Manila time)

[edit] Question
Why is the channel guide even here? Wikipedia is not a directory and I think this would qualify as a directory. --Woohookitty(meow) 03:23, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] SkyCable Manitoba
There is an MMDS service in Manitoba, Canada also called SkyCable. Just would like to create a disambiguation page that can list both.
[edit] On Predicted channels
I have made a Predicted channels section on this article. Please put the channels not yet available on SkyCable there, and don't put them on the Channel listing section. Just for the order of this article.
Thank you. PinoiBIGscientian 10:43, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please block vandals
Can someone with administrative power lock this article up such that only registered users can edit this article? There are some non-registered users (with IP addresses 125.212.119.58, 202.78.76.71, 210.213.67.235, 203.215.121.34, and 210.213.69.100, just to name a few) that keep putting extra unavailable channels on the Channel list by Genre section. There is a Predicted channels section already provided for non-available channels, and yet they still put these channels on the channel list section. I may have to provide a separate article just for the enumeration of the channels for easier apprehension.
Please also apprehend the IP addresses I just enumerated so they won't do this kind of vandalism again. Thank you. --PinoiBIGscientian 00:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alleged Bias
Could anyone please put any proof to this statement? or somebody just made this up...

3. The most exciting news for all our clients and agencies which we would like to share with you, coinciding with the start of the new Fall Season this October, 2007, in the United States, Solar will be scheduling series such as Heroes, 24, Prison Break, Sarah Connors Chronicles and Bionic Woman, on a day and date basis with the US telecast schedule.
This means, instead of waiting for the inevitable delay due to tape shipment and to counter the illegal downloading of content on the internet, cable viewers can now watch these series at the same time as the American viewers. This dramatic scheduling innovation will surely add more value to their viewing experiences.
Of course, the current world class sports properties will continue including the FIBA games, U.S. NCAA, Collegiate Champions League, PBL games, French Open Tennis, Ultimate Fighting Championship, Bundes Liga, La Liga, the NFL and PGA Golf Tour.
Creative Programs, Incorporated (CPI) is the cable television production company of ABS-CBN. It currently owns, operates, and distributes the cable channels MYX, Lifestyle Network, HERO TV, and Cinema One. They are also the distributors of 24/7 live streaming channels of the ABS-CBN-produced reality shows Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Dream Academy. All of these channels are made available in over 250 cable operators around the Philippines under the CPI Power Bundle. It is one of two broadcasting companies that locally produces cable TV channels in the Philippines, the other being Solar Entertainment.
Velvet will be air E! programs starting next year.
Balls, Maxxx and Velvet are all created by CPI.

[edit] Disney Channel
The article says another channel will take the place of Disney Channel beginning the start of 2008. If Disney Channel will be seen on 'Silver,' won't it also be seen in 'Gold' and 'Platinum?' What is its new channel assignment if ever? --58.69.20.87 00:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
it doesn't make sense if Disney will now be available on the 'silver' package but NOT in the 'gold' and 'platinum' packages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.241.143 (talk) 03:43, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

- If it will be available on SkyCable Silver, it will be automatically available on ALL Packages. Since this is the "Lowest" package from Sky...
