Jon intends to take Garfield and Odie to Miami, but cannot afford the airplane. Instead, he spends all his money on Swindler Airlines. Al G. Swindler attempts to fly them on a broken-down airplane, much to the concern of Garfield and Odie.

Jon: (Knowing that Garfield has landed him in the Arctic) Well, we just have to spend our vaction here rather than ride on that plane again.(Sees an Inuit) Excuse me, do you know where can I find a hotel? (Shocked to see that the Inuit is really Mr. Swindler)

Jon: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! (Carries Garfield and Odie back to the plane and flies off).
Al: It's getting tougher these days to make an honest dollar.
Jon: What can I get for $70?
Man: Cramped baggage claim, salty pretzels, and the stewardess shows vacation slides.
Jon: That doesn't sound too bad.
Man: Well there are requirements: You have to have a pigeon suit and be named Larry.
Garfield: Just because I can't talk, [Jon] never listens to me.
Jon: Aren't you forgetting something?
Al: No, I've got my parachute.
Jon: The plane has only one wing.
Al: That's not enough?
