Skylight Pictures

Skylight Pictures is an independent documentary film company based in New York City that has been making films for over 25 years. Five of their films (Poverty Outlaw, Teen Dreams, Takeover, Teatro! and When The Mountains Tremble) were nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and When The Mountains Tremble won the award in 1984. Their film, State of Fear: The Truth about Terrorism, won the 2006 Overseas Press Club Award for "Best Reporting in Any Medium on Latin America".[1]. Their film,Witness to War, won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short in 1985.[2]
